InductEV Taps Tim DeMoss from Port of Los Angeles as its First Director of Port & Intermodal Strategies

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA, January 30 – InductEV today announced that Tim DeMoss has joined the pioneering wireless charging company as its first Director of Port & Intermodal Strategies. He joined after 17 years with the Port of Los Angeles, where he most recently served as an Environmental Affairs Officer for the Air Quality Section in the Port’s Environmental Management Division.

Mr. DeMoss will be based in Los Angeles, in proximity to North America’s two largest ports  -- the Port of Los Angeles and the Port of Long Beach. In his role at the former, he managed projects that involved reducing air emissions from vehicles that move freight in and out of the Port. His section was responsible for procuring large grant funding awards for zero and near-zero-emission cargo handling equipment, on-road trucks, and locomotives at the Port and throughout the region. As such, he is well-positioned to advance InductEV’s wireless charging solution for vehicles operating to, from, and within ports and freight terminals.

Mr. DeMoss holds an M.S. in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Environmental Science and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
